Right off the back of their collaboration on the New Balance 990v2 which was dubbed the “Tyrian“, Concepts are back at it again with New Balance, but this time they join forces to debut the Trailbuster Fresh Foam “des Sables”.

These two Boston heavyweights are on a year-long collaborative journey, and the latest instalment is inspired by the desert landscape and designed for the trail blazer.

The shoe features deconstructed paneling, an embroidered applique N logo and removed overlays for a lightweight, breathable design for the warmer summer months. The fully engineered knit upper is inspired by desert hues, while the blue accents are reminiscent of a desert oasis. The shoe is finished off with Concepts-branded lace aglets and foot bed.

Now, in our opinion, the downfall of the Trailbuster was it’s sole unit, which always made it quite unappealing to us, however, with the addition of the Fresh Foam midsole and rubber outsole, the Trailbuster now offers the comfort and quality craftsmanship expected from New Balance. So if you’re going to try out any Trailbuster, then this one will definitely be worth grabbing.

The New Balance Trailbuster Fresh Foam x Concepts “des Sables” will be released on Friday, May 19 exclusively at Concepts retail locations and on http://www.cncpts.com for a price of $130.
