Just before Christmas, we done a post on the Made in UK New Balance “Yard” Pack which was set to drop before the end of the year, and now with the first drop out of the way, having launched on the 31st of December, we’ve managed to take a closer look at the 991.5 and 577 from that drop.
In our opinion, New Balance definitely saved two of the absolute best of 2016 for right on the very last day. Bangers.
It may be an unpopular opinion, but for at least one half of NB Gallery, these are a step above the “Surplus” Pack from a few months ago, particularly the 577, as it wasn’t the strongest colourway in the “Surplus” Pack, but it’s definitely the best from this pack.
Also, that shape. Wow. We’ll let the shots below do the talking.
The New Balance 991.5 was introduced in the “Surplus” Pack and features a 991 upper sat atop a 1500 sole unit, and it gets it’s second ever make-up in the “Yard” Pack.
We can’t wait to see what New Balance do with this silhouette in 2017!
If you want to grab either of these two pairs from the Made in UK New Balance “Yard” Pack, head over to HANON now where there’s still some sizes remaining.
