New Balance M770 Re-Issue

YES!

Straight out of the 80’s, this is one we have been waiting for!

Based on the Made in Ireland version of this silhouette, New Balance present the first drop of the New Balance M770 Re-Issue in two colourways, the M770RBB and M770BBB, straight out of the Flimby Factory in the Lake District, England.

The first colourway is the New Balance 770RBB and come in a rich burgundy suede and mesh upper with leather detailing, and beige accents. This colourway is the pick of the bunch for us for sure, but we’ve gotta have both!

The second colourway is the New Balance 770BBB features the same material make-up, but comes in a mixture of brown tones, and a predominantly tan coloured upper.

As this shoe predates the use of the plastic heel clip known as the CR or counter reinforcement, the two layers on the heel are an earlier simulation of the same heel stability concept, and we are massively into that extra layer!

We might revisit this post actually, and get our resident 770 lover to dig out some of his vintage beauties so we can put a little bit of history together or some comparisons, but for the time being, enjoy these current reissues below.

You can buy both pairs now via HANON.
