New Balance x Norse Projects “Danish Weather Pack 2”

New Balance and Norse Projects present the “Danish Weather Pack 2” in celebration of the re-issue of the original Rainier.

The Rainier model was first introduced by New Balance in 1982 and quickly became a game changer within trail running and hiking culture by combining lightweight technology with the functional needs of an outdoor boot.

The colour scheme for the Danish Weather Pack 2.0 is inspired by the shoreline topography of coastal Denmark during the dark months of winter time.

Norse Projects have taken the New Balance silhouette and reintroduced the Rainier’s original Vibram sole unit, updating the D-rings to modern lace hoops and upgrading to a Gore-Tex® upper, offering the required protection against the elements.

The shoe comes in two colourways: Blue Graphite and Husk, and will be launching at Norse Projects on December 3rd, with a worldwide release the following week.
