New Balance 997.5GR

Nothing gets us excited more than when New Balance bring back a model, and it just so happens that during the month of April, this has happened twice! What a way to kick off the second quarter!

New Balance is renowned for it’s model numbering system, but what happens when they add a .5 we hear you ask? Well the New Balance 997.5 is a hybrid, and no, not one of those hybrids that customisers create, but an actual official hybrid, and it’s one of the best.

The New Balance 997.5 takes the upper from the 997, and throws it atop the ABZORB sole unit of the 998, which created the 997.5. Combining this model with a traditional tonal grey suede and mesh colourway, some leather, and some 3M, as well as being crafted in the USA, the 997.5GR is as good as it gets. It’s very hard to beat a pair of grey New Balance, we’re sure you’ll agree!

You might remember a few colourways and a certain collaboration on the 997.5 a few years back, which were all Made in Asia, but these Made in USA beauties are streets ahead.

We’d love to go on and on, but we’re just going to let the shoe do the talking, and we cannot wait to see what New Balance do with this model in the future!

They’re dropping at Up There on April 30th, and should be hitting the UK and Europe very shortly. We’ll have more when we get our hands on a pair.
