You may know size? as that retailer which is on every high street in the country and has been branching out into Europe over the last couple of years, but what you may not know is that they have a very rich history with New Balance, which you can check out here.
For their latest project with New Balance, they have dipped into their archive of performance footwear to revitalise a forgotten model, the New Balance 801.
The New Balance 801 was originally a trail shoe from the late 90’s, and it has been updated with a modern Vazee sole unit to transform it into a contemporary, modern day lifestyle product, which will be available via size? in three exclusive colourways – white, black and olive, with the colour palette inspiration taken from the aesthetic of Japanese street culture.
The shoe comes dressed in a hardwearing perforated upper which sits atop a soft mesh underlay, with premium embossed nubuck detailing applied to the heel. The main feature of the shoe is a unique wraparound tongue, which is designed to provide the ankle with support when running. Finally, to finish, a lightweight and super comfy REVlite midsole has been applied to bridge the gap between performance and contemporary lifestyle.
If any of these colourways are doing it for you, then the size? Exclusive New Balance 801 Vazee will be available from all size? stores and online from Friday 8th of July.
