New Balance “Explore by Air” Distinct Collection

You may remember not so long ago we were treated to the Made in USA New Balance “Explore by Sea” Collection which featured Connoisseur, Distinct and Bespoke lines, and  had some absolutely banging colourways, well, fast forward to May and New Balance are back with a similar kind of collection, but this time it has been dubbed “Explore by Air”.

For the “Explore by Air” Collection, each shoe from the collection is inspired by aviation and pays tributes to sky bound adventurers and innovators. If we first take a look at the Distinct line of this collection, we are treated to three styles, a 997, a 998 and finally, a 1300.

The Made in USA New Balance 997DEXP comes in a stealthy black suede upper, with some black leather throughout, a perforated suede toe box, and red hits across the upper adding the perfect amount of pop. This stealthy upper is finished off by being sat atop that super clean white midsole.

If you’re looking to add the New Balance 997DEXP to your collection, then grab them now via HANON here.

The highlight of the “Explore by Air” Distinct Collection for us has to be these Made in USA New Balance 998DMON which a lush all white leather upper with perforated detailing on the toe box and collar, with blue and red hits adding the perfect amount of contrast to the clean white.

If, like us, the banging New Balance 998DMON are an absolute must, then pick them up here.

If we’re being honest, there hasn’t been many colourways on the 1300 that have impressed us of late, but these Made in USA New Balance 1300DAR may have just changed that.

There’s just something about those blue and grey tones combined with the lush nubuck, perforations, white leather tongue, and that big blue N which is impressing us. We’ll let you decide from the images below, but they’re pretty great.

The New Balance 1300DAR “Explore by Air” are available to buy via HANON here.
