There are two Bespoke Collection drops every year, and are basically thee most premium shoes that New Balance make. We mean that in every sense of the word, and the price certainly reflects that, but who’s complaining really? A domestically manufactured shoe, constructed from famous Horween Leather, sign us up!
Anyway, the first drop of 2016 is upon us already as part of the “Explore by Sea” Collection, and features a 997 and a 1300, as well as a 1700 (not featured here) so let’s take a closer look.
When the Made in USA New Balance 997BEXP from the Bespoke Collection first dropped over in the US of A, we took a brief look at it here. When New Balance drop a pair of shoes with a retail price of £295, we always feel like it needs a little justification for those who aren’t well versed in their prices.
At risk of sounding like a broken record already in this post, we’d just like to stress a few details about these shoes and just how good they actually are.
A New Balance 997, a silhouette which since it’s reissue has risen to become probably the most popular silhouette currently, throw in some Horween Leather, in a staple navy colourway, with contrasting brown leather inner lining, and a clean white midsole. Winner Winner.
And not to mention just how good they look on-foot!
Yes, the price may be a little steep, but if you want to grab a pair, click here.
If you’re not sold by the 997, then fear not, as New Balance have also included a 1300 as part of their first Bespoke Collection for 2016.
The Made in USA New Balance 1300BER comes dressed in the absolute most premium brown Horween Leather, leather lining, a clean white midsole, and if that wasn’t enough, they’ve only went and thrown on a gum outsole too!
Maybe you’re rich, or maybe you just prefer the 1300 over the 997, either way, we’re not gonna judge, so if you want to pick up the New Balance 1300BER then click here.
