The 1400 silhouette has had a lot of love over the years from J.Crew, but now it’s time for Japanese heavyweight BEAMS to be let loose on the silhouette to create two make-ups in celebration of their 40th anniversary.

There’s no tricks or gimmicks with this collaboration, just two very clean New Balance 1400’s which are presented in suede make-ups in navy blue or tan. Making things a little personal on these two 1400’s, the “40” has been called out in orange stitching on the tongues to commemorate BEAMS’ 40th anniversary.

The BEAMS x New Balance 1400 is currently available now in Japan, with a pop-up shop apparently coming soon in Paris.
