Two of Boston’s heavyweights are back at it again with another collaboration, and this time Concepts and New Balance come together to create the Made in USA “Varsity Weekend” Pack which features a 998 and a 990v3.

Paying homage to one of the oldest collegiate football rivalries, Concepts and New Balance release this pack as Harvard took on Yale this past weekend with Yale winning 21-14.

The Made in USA New Balance 998 from the “Varsity Weekend” Pack features a Harvard-inspired aesthetic with it’s deep burgundy upper. Concepts state that their branded insoles tell the story of vintage Massachusetts bandana manufacturing and dyeing plants that would turn this particular shade after wear and sweat.

The second pair from the pack is the Made in USA New Balance 990v3, and it takes a different approach for the unofficial Yale inspiration, as a pigskin suede in soft grey and white mesh features on the upper.
