It looks like a heritage New Balance colourway on a Made in USA NB 998 with that grey and subtle hits of blue, but it’s actually a BEAMS collaboration, and it’s set to drop at the end of the month.

This BEAMS x New Balance 998 comes in an all grey suede and mesh colourway, with hits of blue on the heel counter and midsole, along with 3M reflective detailing. There’s also “BOSTON” and “TOKYO” embroidered on the left and right heel, paying homage to New Balance and BEAMS’ origins.

Don’t sweat too much if you miss out on those colourway via BEAMS however, as you should in theory be able to make it on the NB1 platform now, if not at some point down the line, slightly disappointing from the Japanese heavyweights.
