No, this isn’t all the shoes that New Balance are doing in 2016 – it’s actually, New Balance’s new model which is releasing in 2016, and is aptly named, wait for it… 2016. Smart, right?

The Tokyo Design Studio have been hard at work to create this streamlined one piece upper silhouette due to the quarter panels, midget, and toe all being fused into one single seamless panel, and comes correct with plenty of nice details to boot.

The first couple of colourways of the New Balance 2016 come in the form of two monochromatic uppers dressed in black or grey, with one utilising suede, and the other utilising leather, but both featuring pebbled leather hits on the tongue and collar. Both shoes are finished off with an Abzorb midsole, combined with gum outsole.

There’s not much in the way of detailed shots to show you the inners, and all the details, but we’ll definitely sort that out for you guys when we get our hands on a pair! In the meantime, check out Bows & Arrows who took these shots!
